My role encompassed overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mobile communication systems, ensuring that all operations were conducted efficiently and effectively. I was instrumental in coordinating with various departments to ensure that all communication needs were met, and I provided strategic direction and support to my team of contractors to achieve our operational goals.

Responsible for maintaining accountability and operational readiness tracking of 90 component air assets, ensuring that all resources were optimally deployed and mission-ready. I served as the Knowledge Management Officer (KMO), overseeing the efficient flow of information and ensuring that critical data was accessible to all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, I managed the Command Operational Picture (COP), providing a comprehensive and real-time overview of operational activities to enhance decision-making and strategic planning. My role required close coordination with various military units and departments to maintain situational awareness and operational efficiency.

Supervised the automations and tactical communications support of four companies, to include 18 Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (SFOD A) teams and three Special Operational Detachment Bravo (SFOD B) teams; acted as primary liaison for all communications requirements between SFODA and SFODB communications NCOs and all support detachments; advised SFODA and SFODB communications personnel regarding the configuration, installation, operation and maintenance of automation data processing equipment and cryptographic devices. Led training opportunities for newly appointed Special Forces Communication Sergeants in preparation for garrison training and real-world overseas mission requirements throughout the 7th SFG (A) area of operation.

Managed all coordination and administrative support for daily company operations and training/deployment of a Signal Company in support of the command, control and communications requirements of Special Operations Forces (SOF), U.S. Embassies and DoD Liaison elements. Aditionally, I managed training plans and schedules to track exercises, military schools, and deployment/medical readiness. I was responsible for ensuring compliance with the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and Department of the Army information assurance (IA) policy for 48 Soldiers, in order to mitigate IA incidents or violations.

As the Transmission Team Chief for a rapidly deployable Tactical Telecommunications Node in support of the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), I was responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of key systems, including the Phoenix Terminal, Mobile Power Unit, and Orthogon systems, ensuring reliable communication for Special Operations Forces worldwide. I also managed the functionality, maintenance, readiness, and accountability of equipment valued at over $6 million.
