In my role I was a multi-product designer across a range of brands, such as JustFab and ShoeDazzle. I worked closely with a small team of three including a print designer to make cohesive collections that met market demands. Within my role, I was solely accountable for the entire Shoedazzle apparel line, overseeing every step from conceptualisation to final presentation. Including sourcing fabrics, sketching designs, and conducting model fittings for a polished finished product. At my time here communication with suppliers and vendors in East Asia and Mexico was key in ensuring a smooth sampling process and high-quality garment production.

As a Womenswear Designer for tailoring, woven tops and dresses my responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, including conducting trend research, hand sketching, creating tech packs, and staying attuned to consumer preferences. With a strong focus on time management, I collaborated closely with our onsite sampling room overseeing the entire process of my designs from draping and toile creation to fabric and trim selection. Coordination with our in-house machinists ensured seamless execution of the clothing samples.

As a Fashion Print Intern at Alexander McQueen, I played a role in creating intricate artworks for various printed pieces, including scarves, dresses, and lace designs. Using my knowledge in both Photoshop and hand drawing techniques, executed design briefs, reporting to to the senior designers and creative director Sarah Burton. Notably, I had the opportunity to work on the development of lace designs for Kate Middleton's wedding dress. My time at Alexander McQueen provided invaluable hands-on experience in the intricate fashion printing, setting a strong foundation for my future in the industry.
