The Shmitah Fund supports Israeli farmers and their families in fulfilling the mitzvah (Torah commandment) of leaving the land fallow every seventh year. By educating about the meaning and importance of Shmitah, and shining a spotlight on the heroic farmers in the front lines of its observance, The Shmitah Fund promotes greater awareness of this foundational concept and practice as a reminder of the just, compassionate, socially and environmentally conscious society the Torah envisions.

Led non-profit organization promoting Jewish women's religious leadership & scholarship in Israel, N. America & worldwide, and socio-economic empowerment of Ethiopian-Jewish young women in Israel. Oversaw Board & Committee management and development, fundraising strategy & implementation, fundraising and “friend-raising” events, cultivating partnerships and establishing new bases of support for Nishmat & AFN, their constituent programs, and the mission of Jewish women's empowerment. Managed day-to-day operations, staff, budget (including annual audit), processes & procedures, communications & marketing, vendor selection and organizational relationships.

Created the 92Y Resource Center for Jewish Diversity to promote greater awareness and inclusiveness of the ethnic, racial and cultural diversity of the Jewish community in New York. Worked collaboratively with grass roots community groups and established organizations locally and globally to provide programming with, about and for diverse Jewish groups including Ethiopian, Persian, Yemenite, African-American, Syrian, Asian-American, Kavkazi, Latino, Israeli and Russian Jewish communities, as well as Bnei Anusim (descendants of the Inquisition) in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the American southwest, and Jewish communities in India, Uganda, Cameroon, Nigeria and China. Inaugurated community relations initiative at 92Y with programs on Black-Jewish and Muslim-Jewish relations; cultivated relationships with and coalitions among relevant Jewish & non-Jewish organizations. Instrumental in developing the 92Y/Migvanim-Ramat Hasharon Global Jewish Connection and initiatives for Israelis in New York. Authored foundational document on 92Y Jewish Life, which established a new organizational template for Jewish community-building and programming.

Responsible for strategic planning and allocations for initiatives focused on strengthening Jewish peoplehood in New York, Israel and around the world. Led strategic restructuring process in coordination with key lay leaders. Spearheaded signature Jewish Peoplehood initiatives including the International Task Force on Jewish Peoplehood Education (Global), Resource Center for Jewish Diversity (New York), Jewish Social Action Month Microgrants (New York/ Israel), College to Employment Initiative for Ethiopian-Israelis (Israel), and Engagement with Orthodox & Haredi Communities (New York/Israel). Identified agency capital projects and additive donor giving opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.

Pioneering Jewish Acapella vocal group performed widely from New York to Seattle and from Miami to Hong Kong throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, and was coaxed out of retirement to sing Hatikva at Madison Square Garden for the 2009 exhibition game between the Knicks and Maccabi Tel Aviv. The group released three CDs of original and traditional Jewish music in six-part harmony, and was featured on several compilation CDs and other artists' recordings. Beat'achon performances and workshops at university Hillels across the country inspired a renaissance of Jewish acapella music on campuses nationwide, and the group's commercial success gave rise to a surge in acapella performers and CDs within professional Jewish music.

Program development, marketing and recruitment for Tochnit Shalem, the religiously observant track of Young Judaea's Year Course in Israel for recent high school graduates. Established conceptual architecture and language for establishing and operating a successful sectarian program within a larger pluralistic initiative and organizational framework.
