As a lawyer at Goodmans, David focuses on corporate finance, corporate law, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and securities law.David acts for both public and private companies in a range of transactions, including financings, initial public offerings, regulatory matters and divestitures. He also acts for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in connection with its commitments to private equity firms around the world.David has advised on a number of income fund and real estate investment trust offerings such as RioCan REIT and Altus and assisted companies such as Vincor in their expansion throughout Canada and internationally. He also acts as Canadian counsel for international clients, such as Amdocs Limited, in their Canadian activities and most recently acted for Amdocs in its acquisition of Bridgewater Systems Corporation.David owns the world's largest collection of Theodor Herzl memorabilia.
