Reader/Tutor For The 'Foundations Of Video Game Design' Course

Foundations of Video Game Design is an intro-level course teaching students the basics of game design. Topics include understanding agency, what defines a mechanic, the purpose and practice of playtesting, and analysis of games. Within this course, I worked directly with students in my section and helped to provide insight and direction into many projects. Alongside the advice given on design, I also acted as a first responder to technical and mechanics-based questions, many of which involved working around bugs or helping develop examples to demonstrate mechanics. The last part of my duties was that of grading. Grading involved many projects both solo and group and involved giving feedback to the students to give advice and encouragement to students as they worked on their games.
