My role was to evaluate the business case for research and development projects in the NI ICT & tradeable services sector and recommend approval for government funding. I was responsible for undertaking comprehensive due diligence that required an analysis of the opportunity, consideration of product technical viability, project planning, and project and company finances. Projects that subsequently received funding were monitored to determine progress against original project objectives, ensuring continued product market fit and ultimate commercial success.

Product Manager with Lagan Technologies Ltd, a CRM software development company involved in the local and central government markets.In fulfilling this role I was required to elicit and prioritise requirements from various sources and project manage software development to ensure that features developed were on time and budget and met the defined business and market needs.I have developed product roadmaps, defined strategy, features and approved specifications for the core product platform, BPM option, integration tooling and methodology, web forms, portlets as well as five other product lines.Continuous monitoring of market trends, analyst reports, customer requests and technology advances along with market and competitive intelligence allowed me to provide input into product pricing and indentify the short to medium term product strategy.Monitoring product performance and revenue ensured continuing product commercial viability. All products had supporting collateral to include product descriptions, quick-sheets, datasheets, screen-cams, FAQs to allow the product to be marketed and utilised.I have also 8 years experience in software development projects with various roles, including those with developer, team lead and project management responsibilities. These have helped further develop my already excellent technical, analytical, organisational and problem solving skills.
