Part of the Global Strategic Sourcing Services (GSSS) team supporting Indirect Procurement group within the McDonald’s Global Supply Chain business. Helping ensure: an assured supply of products to our restaurants while providing low cost best value to our System, the safety and quality of our products, support to the Franchisees and restaurants in achieving their goals and increasing cash flows, as well as supplier alignment with our corporate goals. Successfully managed the commercialization of new Foods, for major Retail and Food service customers. Acted as key point of contact for cross-functional business teams (Operations, Innovation, QA, Procurement, Sales and Customer) to commercialize & launch food items. Identified and minimized any exposure to project risk and developed mitigation strategies. Provided leadership and supervision to team of 4 project managers.• Ensured the commercialization & on-time deployment of over 80 new Foods, for major Retail and Food service customers such as Walmart, Subway, McDonald’s & Sobey’s.• Led a cross functional team in the reintroduction of McDonald’s McGriddles to the Canadian & Northeastern US markets resulting in $12.9M Cdn incremental revenue to ARYZTA Canada.• Successfully deployed the rollout of $16.3M of Subway Clean Label cookie deployment across the US with no disruption to supply.• Acted as the Canadian functional lead for the deployment of the PLM module of SAP for organizational project management ensuring that Canadian requirements/customization needs were met.

Led a team of 2 SCM Managers in the identification of key long-term strategic supply partners and development of Purchasing Strategies to assure supply of almost $53M of annual spend. Held P&L responsibility for $5.2M in Grocery Channel annual sales & distribution of Second Cup portfolio (Retail).• Led organizational restructuring & redesign initiative resulting in $2.3M (23 FTE reduction) in savings to the Franchisees.• Developed pilot program to move franchisees to a frozen baked goods model in order to minimize waste (reduced 11%), minimize distribution costs and maximize profitability resulting in $1M annualized system savings.• Negotiated $2.2M distribution contract and oversaw provider transition with no cost impact to the franchisees and no service disruption.• Negotiated $9.5M baked goods contract which introduced premium product positioning for Second Cup.• Enhanced H&S awareness by communicating standards, audit results and training during quarterly meetings at all distribution centres.

Managed Developed the overarching Procurement and Supply Chain strategy for sourcing initiatives for $1.6B of Food, Beverage and Packaging spend servicing over 7,000 Dunkin Donut stores in the U.S. and Internationally. Responsible for final recommendations on all Food, Beverage and Packaging RFP results, recommendations, implementation strategies and timelines.• Led group to $80.2M in total savings (118% of target) with $30.9M in new savings (100% of stretch objective).• Achieved $3.25M in savings in Cups & Lids category through targeted contract revision and negotiation.• Orchestrated total Food & Paper spend from 36% of spend under contract to 90%+ in 4 months. • Revitalized Quarterly Sourcing Scorecard provide membership with visibility of fiscal impact to Gross Margin of savings initiatives, strategic management decisions and commodity costs.• Implemented “StandOut” leadership program which developed team profile which allowed management to leverage individual team member strengths for targeted deployment of workload, customize management styles & isolate areas of development.
