Worked directly with school and district leadership to develop strategic plans and train leadership on turning 21st century skills and e-learning processes into action plans. Responsible for all student and school-based support services including helpdesk support team, customer health evaluation, instructional support, and student clubs. I also lead all communications between the organization and media, stakeholders, etc. Managed team to develop guidelines and procedures for student support operations. Developed policies and procedures by working with the State Board of Education and local school districts.

Responsible for leading all library and technology initiatives for 19 schools and one central office. Duties included developing long range plans for technology integration and distance learning initiatives. Coordinated a $1.1 million infrastructure upgrade and developed a comprehensive training plan for moving schools into the IMPACT model developed by the State of North Carolina's Department of Public Instruction.

Responsible for leadership and management of a 32,000 square foot high tech training center. The center was home to the Advanced Manufacturing Center for the NC Aerospace Alliance. The center is now used as an economic development tool to provide new and expanding industry training. Worked closely with all levels of government to develop training programs that ranged from forklift training to online anti-terrorism training. Co-wrote the workforce development grant that assisted in the recruitment of Spirit Aerosystems to Kinston, NC.
