As a doctoral student, I served as a TA for two courses per semester of my program. I assisted professors with course preparation, conducted post-lecture hour-long discussion sessions with approximately 30 students, graded papers and examinations, and held office hours for individual student consultations. Courses included: classical and modern/postmodern Hollywood cinema, world cinema, avant-garde film and video, film censorship, film noir, "blaxploitation" cinema, rock music in cinema, and many others.

Instructed a class of 20 adult students in the fundamentals of constructing expository essays. Taught methods of interpretation for major works of English and American literature.

Taught advanced freshman-level expository writing skills to a class of 30 students.

Assumed daily in-class teaching duties for all subjects from 1st through 12th grade levels, including nighttime adult school for both short and long-term assignments.
