David Melchor is a proven executive and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in leading successful ventures in the music & entertainment, digital media and healthcare industries. He started his career in 1995 when as a college senior he co-founded the entertainment and youth marketing Agency Empire Entertainment, an event production and leading experiential marketing agency in the industry managing BTL strategic programs to engage consumers for global brands such as Pepsi, Toyota, and Heineken.His enthusiasm for the vibrant world of nightlife and dance music culture inspired him to create a thriving network of nightclubs, bars, and concert venues. This vibrant chapter of his life saw the venture become a platform for showcasing premier international talent, featuring legendary acts such as DJ Tiësto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten, The Prodigy, and Blond:ish, among many others. David curated many unforgettable experiences and built long-lasting industry relationships.His passion for technology led David to founded Wireless Idea in early 2003 with a vision of it becoming the first digital content distribution platform to operate in Latin America. In just 10 years, he made this vision a reality when Wireless Idea under his leadership became the leading mobile distribution platform for the LATAM and US Hispanic markets generating over $100M in annual revenues with operations in 17 countries. In March 2015 Wireless Idea sold its mobile entertainment business in Latin America to Terra Networks, a subsidiary of Telefonica.In 2016 David and his wife, Dr. Tania Rivera Co-founded Pravan Health, a cutting-edge holistic health and wellness platform. Pravan's model includes concierge medical clinics and a robust telemedicine platform that provides technology-driven and patient-centered access to health services based on an integrated model incorporating wellness, preventive care, and pediatrics.In 2021, David co-founded HealerPass, a marketplace application that specializes in health and wellness. The platform offers a carefully selected concierge network of highly-regarded medical professionals and wellness providers, allowing users to easily schedule appointments and access premium medical services that are not typically covered by insurance.In 2022, David returned to his early passion for music and technology by co-founding Blocbeats, a Web3 music platform to empower artists and creators to thrive in a sustainable and equitable music ecosystem by leveraging the power of AI and blockchain technologies.
