My name is David Freeman, and I am a Master of Management in Energy Candidate at Tulane University. I am originally from New Orleans and received my Bachelor of Science in Geology from Washington and Lee University in 2022. During my undergraduate studies, I had the privilege of completing research with an accomplished team of professors and students in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, where I gained much experience with research and data analysis and processing. After this, I worked for Freeport-McMoRan, a copper mining company, as a geologist. While there, I developed an acute attention to detail and furthered my data analysis, processing, and team collaboration skills. I believe that my unique experiences on the technical side of the energy sector as well as my academic experience with the financial side of the energy sector give me a unique and thorough understanding of energy markets that not many other candidates possess, and I will be able to use these abilities to better forecast market trends.
