To engage with, and key account manage, relationships with private sector corporate clients for the purpose of diversifying income streams to the university from industry, through strategic relationship management for long-term R&D projects and their commercialisation strategies for innovative products and processes.

An additional pastoral role dealing with cases of discipline that cannot be dealt with by College Deans due to their serious nature, or because they involve members of several colleges.

To engage with and key account manage the relationships we have with corporate clients. These are generally multinational companies that are involved with multiple campus contacts. The purpose of my role is multifunctional and involves identifying the needs of the business and offering the most appropriate and best value routes for funding projects whilst.

I wrote the ERDF bid application and project managed the successful delivery of the Lancaster Business Creation II project for start up businesses. The project is predominately aimed at high growth start ups and spin out businesses from the University. The delivery involved business development through networking with a range of contacts from Bank.

ERDF Projects Business Development Executive responsible for the business development through networking and cold calling for a diverse range of projects. I visited companies and carried out needs analysis before recommending the most appropriate support mechanisms for their needs

I worked on a number of ERDF funded projects supporting businesses across the North West with a range of issues from Supply Chain improvement in the Aerospace sector to Innovation and Intellectual Property Management. This involved working with businesses that had aspirations to grow significantly, identifying their needs to do so and then administering.

I joined Glasdon UK Ltd as a Design Engineer and progressed through to Product Manager before I left to join Enterprise Plc. Through my roles at Glasdon I gained a thorough understanding of most manufacturing technologies and associated design software.
