As a Vikings Black Jacket, I am engaging with high-level premium guests inside the many suites and club spaces at U.S. Bank Stadium while providing best-in-class service and experiences to the greatest fans in the NFL.My role includes networking with other professionals within the sports industry, participating in numerous professional development opportunities, learning about gameday operations at a professional level, and writing a synthesis paper analyzing another pro team's operational performance.

As a Marketing and Promotions Intern for the Eau Claire Express Baseball Club, I am responsible for managing the team's Facebook page, working with sponsors, organizing, planning, and executing theme nights, executing on-field promotions, organizing first pitches and national anthem, and managing and overseeing community appearances.Key Responsibilities:1. Managing the Express Facebook page includes creating content, creating and scheduling events, and responding to fans on Messenger. My goal during the internship is to grow the Facebook page followers by 1000.2. Execute on-field promotions between innings that include recruiting and working with fans of all ages, which includes emceeing the games.3. Meet and work with sponsors on organizing their sponsored gameday and any promotional materials.Main Accomplishments:1. Organized and executed my theme night (Oktoberfest Night) with 1200 attendants. Partnered with the Oktoberfest Chippewa Falls and worked within a $200 budget to effectively promote the theme night, as well as provide Express Oktoberfest Mug/Brat specials, a giveaway at the gates, an Accordion player for National Anthem, tons of on-field Oktoberfest themed games such as keg rolling and pretzel toss, games in our Wipfli Zone such as Stein Holding and Stumpfgnagel, and performances from glockenspiel dancers. 2. Effectively worked with 5 different sponsors and their sponsored games and events, making them as memorable as possible. 3. Organized and executed community appearances such as a tour of the Career Development Center with the players that included signings and pictures, playing the on-field promotions with around 400 YMCA kids, and a Career Exploring event at Carson Park where all the interns talked to middle to high school aged kids about working in sports and their roles and responsibilities are with the team.
