• Assess Grace’s global supplier network, driving to lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), with an emphasis on supplier risk, reliability, and strategic synergy.• Acts as industry expert, collecting market intelligence (including micro and macro-economic data, geopolitical trends, and supply/demand fundamentals) as it pertains to energy sourcing, to inform short and long-term organizational decision making.• Understand Grace’s internal energy consumption in the manufacturing environment, in both regulated and unregulated markets, and differing regional political landscapes, and apply such knowledge to optimize sourcing decisions.• Lead sourcing activities and projects, including contract requisition and negotiation, as it relates to direct energy procurement within Grace’s broader corporate objectives, sustainability initiatives and aligned to Grace’s Procure to Pay policies.• Procure power and natural gas in North America and Europe• Create and implement new company wide hedging policy to reduce volatility and mitigate intra-year EBITDA risk• Leverage data analytics and explore emerging trends, technology and best practices in the energy procurement and consumption space.• Work closely with the Sustainability team to help meet Grace’s Carbon Free goals.

Procurement• Develop and implement long term strategic procurement plans for large commercial client’s entire portfolio spend by building, executing, and measuring effective energy supply procurement strategies for both Electricity and Natural Gas• Negotiates new and existing procurement contracts (including demand response contracts) along with Client master services contracts in accordance with Client regulatory and legal requirements in deregulated markets including PJM, ERCOT, NYISO, NE-ISO, and CAISO• Prepared customized client presentations using extensive product knowledge resulting in building a rapport as a personable and trusted representative• Manage sales and relationships with customers for energy procurement, tenant utility billing, and sustainability services• Maintain budgets and forecast client utility expenses and consumption based on historical property data and utility tariffs which led to long term goals being metSustainability• Establish corporate ESG strategy with each customer while developing a long-term vision and sustainability roadmap ensuring alignment to both domestic and Global goals and objectives.• Create a Gap Analysis for ESG and develop a Road Map to help achieve company goals.• Renewable energy program development and implementation• Help companies with their utility energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) benchmarking, GRESB reporting and Energy Star submissions.• Assist clients with sustainability, and energy efficiency program development and implementation as well as Energy disclosure reporting for jurisdictional regulations.• Ad hoc Reporting in response to client specific requests, including sustainability analysis, energy trend analysis and procurement reporting.
