I have practised in the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, focusing on non-contentious intellectual property and information technology protection and commercialisation.My expertise includes providing strategic advice on trade mark portfolio management, conducting due diligence enquiries on target companies’ intellectual property, negotiation and settlement of IP disputes and preparing multijurisdictional coexistence and settlement agreements. I also advise on and negotiate contracts in the fields of software development and procurement, website development, installation, hosting and maintenance and intellectual property licensing.My experiences in Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East have given me an international perspective on intellectual property law and the negotiation of cross-border contracts. I have also cultivated an interest in start-up ventures.
