At Quartz, I was our Domain Expert for the large scale construction and self-perform markets. I focused around three core areas: - Sales Engineer/Solutions Expert: I met with construction companies later in the sales cycle to discuss current product development, understand their current goals and problems and guide towards a closed sale with clear expectations. I also entered new markets and met with construction workers onsite to generate interest and sales across the United States. - Product Development: I used my construction knowledge to guide product choices and strategy, and develop stories for product solutions that would be spec'd, designed and delivered to Engineering for build. - Customer Success: I also met with clients on a regular cadence, presenting new updates to Quartz's system, receiving feedback on pilot goals and iterating/closing the feedback loop from developed products into updated solutions.

Construction Management services for a new luxury residential development located on 1.77 of an acre bound by Dearborn, Walton, State, and Delaware Streets. The residential tower will consist of 198 condominiums on 31 floors and, at the insistence of Bovis Lend Lease, will be constructed via "top-down" construction for client cost and time savings..

Located in Chicago's Gold Coast, it will consist of 200 rooms, many of which will offer great views of Lake Michigan, a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, fitness center and possibly an outdoor bar/lounge. The existing building will be demolished except for the State Street façade which will undergo a restoration to preserve the original distinctive architectural features. The project also has plans to include numerous sustainable features

This $19.5 million project involved re-imaging gas dispensers with decals and door skins, along with replacing sign panels at 4,300 BP gas station locations in 28 states throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. The subcontracting companies that were managed were Fortney & Weygandt, Midwest Maintenance, DuraColor, and Olympic Signs, and the installation schedule was completed in 3 months. Project Managers were responsible for visiting sites, inspecting the quality of various sites, performing safety audits, monitoring schedules, reviewing and approving invoices, and signing off on completed markets.

Construction Management services for a $77 million senior living facility in the Western Chicago suburb of Elmhurst. The new 503,000 sf new Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) contains 185 residential Independent Living units, 47 assisted living units, 32 skilled nursing units, 20 dementia units, and 56,000 sf of below grade parking underneath a plaza

General Contracting services for a 26-story luxury hotel located on the corner of Erie and State streets just west of Chicago's infamous Magnificent Mile. The 200 guestroom hotel includes a full-service restaurant, spa/fitness component, conference facility, and a unique rooftop lounge with terrace seating. The Dana Hotel is a cast-in-place concrete structure with curtainwall and window wall elevations, 82 balconies and a total above grade area of 144,545 sf.

$35M. 126,000sf 100-year old clay-tile renovation. Bovis facilitated all preconstruction consulting and construction services of the historically designated 1904 Majestic Office Building. The Majestic housed Chicago's original Shubert Theatre venue, cited as Chicago's oldest road-house venue throughout the Theatre District. The newly renovated LaSalle Bank Theatre now features upgrades to all base building MEP systems, including the introduction of a fire sprinkler system; the addition of a 7-story hydraulic elevator to meet all ADA requirements; increased efficiencies in HVAC temperature control; enlarged concession & back of house support areas; increased restroom capacities; improved sight-lines and historic restorations of hidden materials and architectural elements. Concurrent to the theatre phase was the hotel construction. The new Hampton Majestic Hotel required complete demo of 15-floors of office tower to allow for a new 135-room 4-star boutique Hampton Inn Hotel, including the introduction of a 70-ton stair tower to address Life Safety / Occupancy Load requirements. Both Theatre and Hotel required complete restoration to various existing interior elements as they were historically landmarked, including rediscovered bronze / brass fixtures, exiting marble finishes, gold leaf mosaic ceilings, aged millwork, and original plaster ornamentations restored.
