Hello. My name is David Morrison and I am a partner in EQ’s Dundee office and I head up the EQ Taxpert team. EQ is a practice with offices in Glenrothes, Dundee and Forfar. I act as adviser to many businesses and I have particular taxpertise in OMB and leisure. Dealing with family businesses across many sectors is my normal day to day role. EQ’s taxperts are highly regarded throughout Scotland for a proactive approach to tax, and we have specialist teams delivering advice in many areas including transactions tax, R&D tax credits, international tax, property tax, private client and employer solutions. Advice provided ranges from business structuring, property taxation (act for more than 1,000 landlords) and R&D tax credits (over £23m recovered to date) to high level corporate tax, capital allowances, international tax and estate planning.I am involved in EQ Leisure with particular expertise in holiday parks and hotels. The services EQ Leisure provide range from raising finance and tax planning to business succession and purchase/sale advice.I provide wide ranging business advisory support to a variety of other clients and I derive great enjoyment from dealing with family businesses and the dynamics that these produce.I am a regular speaker on taxation and leisure topics and maintain excellent contacts with other professionals and the wider business community to allow me to provide a range of support and advice.
