The principal lead for the Isle of Man Government in relation to the development and management of the Motorsport National Plan for the Island’s future strategic ambitions. Managing both strategically and politically, the end-to-end value chain ensuring a coherent, consistent and integrated approach to the delivery of the Isle of Man Government-supported TT races, Festival of Motorsports and other Motorsport products and services.

Takes lead responsibility for all aspects of the operational management of the Isle of Man Ship Registry. This includes overall responsibility for performance management, the achievement of operational objectives and targets, the delivery of services and the development of staff. Additionally manages long term projects aimed at improving the operational effectiveness of the Isle of Man Ship Registry and is required to stand in for the Director whenever the Director is off-Island or on leave and to represent the Director in local and international arenas.As head of the technical operation of the Ship Registry leads the registry in ensuring that Isle of Man ships and yachts meet international requirements and that this remains the case for ships on the register and those proposed for registry. In this I represent the Ship Registry at a technical level with other Administrations and Recognised Organisations.Well, after 12 years in post I will be moving on, it has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to work with such a dedicated and committed bunch of people, totally dedicated to seafarers and safety at sea. My last day is the 31st of October.
