I am the sole developer working on the Linkage Mechanism Designer and Simulator. This is a personal freeware project. The Linkage software is currently a Windows desktop program written in C++ using MFC and the Microsoft document/view architecture. A Mac version of the software is in development using Cocoa and Swift. This rapid prototyping tool allows a mechanism to be drawn in the same way lines and shapes are drawn in typical illustration programs. • Improve and maintain mobile workforce business apps for iOS, Android, Windows UWP, and for the web• Developed the iOS version of the company app from scratch, implementing all of the Windows and Android app functions as well as new functionality.• Maintain and enhance the server side of the client-server system using Java in the Tomcat environment.• Created a web-based Google Maps demonstration application for displaying GPS tracking data.• Investigate new technologies for client portion of the product, such as generating optimal routes for drivers, and capturing audio, video, and still imagery for upload.

Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance for the company's biotechnology research tools. Active Motif bought TimeLogic and I continued to work on the TimeLogic product line.All major product development was done in C++ for Windows and Linux. Some HTML/CSS/JavaScript work was done to provide a web interface to the product.The product included custom-built hardware and I was responsible for the Windows device driver for that hardware. The product included hardware and software versions of high-speed data comparison algorithms such as the Smith-Waterman dynamic programming algorithm and the BLAST heuristic algorithm, both designed for search and comparing genetic data (DNA and Protein in text representations). Some algorithm enhancements were written in x64 assembly language using SIMD/MMX instructions.Later work on the product included highly parallel software running data through a multithreaded pipeline to enhance results delivered by the custom hardware. Some of this processing included running as many as 32 threads in each step of the pipeline on a 64 core x64-based computer.

Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance for the companys biotechnology research tools.

Lyrix developed a wireless portable audio preview device for music stores. I designed and implemented all of the system software that ran on a custom computer design. This included designing SCSI communications, radio communications, file system, multi-tasking OS, and other software components.

Designed and implemented presentation authoring software. This included designing digital video editors and non-linear presentation editing software.

Redesigned the internal database management software to drastically improve the ease-of-use. Created coding standards for the engineering staff.
