Through my work as Director of Individual Giving, I was responsible for securing over $1.2M in individual philanthropic support.I led the strategy and implementation of individual donor cultivation and stewardship while playing a pivotal role in the $85M comprehensive campaign, All In Campaign for OMCA, which successfully reached its goal in April 2021. I managed an individual giving team of three full time staff members overseeing donor events, individual giving, and database administration.*Due to an organizational restructure implemented in April 2021, the Director of Individual Giving position was eliminated at OMCA and my role ended April 30, 2021.

Through my work as Director of Advancement and Community Relations, I managed an operating budget of $1.6M while being responsible for securing $5M in private philanthropic revenue. I led the efforts in securing 90% donor retention, secured Project Open Hand’s largest private donation ($276k) and the largest corporate donor ($500k), and relaunched a twenty-three year old event that was on hiatus for three years, which raised over $300,000. My focus on detail and my ability to connect the donor to an organization’s mission and programs is why I am successful with revenue generation.-Report directly to VP, Development & Communication-Manage 4 staff members: Institutional Giving Manager, Events and Community Relations Manager, Events and Community Relations Associate, Development Officer-Manage an expense budget of $1.6M-Responsible for securing $5M in private philanthropic revenue-Manage a personal portfolio of 130 high net-worth donors ($5000+)-Manage annual events portfolio (7 produced events)-Oversee public relations and branding efforts for all external events-Implement direct marketing strategy for Project Open Hand via mail, email, and phone: Manage and document online giving campaigns; Manage vendors for direct mail; Develop a portfolio of 600-750 mid-level donors $500-$999 and steward them toward retention and upgrades. Previously held roles: Associate Director of Advancement (4/16-7/17); Individual Giving Manager (9/15-3/16).

-Managed three world-class performance venues (160-1,200 seats) including all hiring, training, and scheduling responsibilities for front-of-house staff, bar staff, and volunteer ushers (250 employees and volunteers) with a heavy production schedule (380 performances for 2014-2015 season). -Work closely with marketing, development, and artistic leadership to ensure a superior theater-going experience for all performances and events. -Increased bar and merchandise sales by 20% ($260,000 in annual sales) by improving hospitality standards, quality,and marketing-Streamlined staff training manuals for a 30% reduction in onboarding time

Managed the SF Film Society’s exhibitions and live performances at the Sundance Kabuki Cinema, New People Cinema, and Castro Theatre for three seasons. Supervised a staff of 100 volunteers and full-time staff that provided crowd and line management for over 5,000 patrons during 85 performances at multiple, concurrent sites.

-Produced and managed all aspects of the San Francisco’s Dining Out for Life fundraising initiative ($240,000 in total revenue) including marketing, budgeting, vendor, and volunteer participation. -Provided additional management to other SF AIDS Foundation fundraising events. -Managed donor retention during merger of STOP AIDS Project and San Francisco AIDS Foundation.-Increased online giving (110%), restaurant donations (32%) and onsite donations (28%)-Decreased overall initiative expenses by 10%STOP AIDS Project-Managed all development and fundraising initiatives for community-based non-profit including events, donor cultivation, and grant writing ($1.2MM annual budget). -Created and implemented a Year End campaign including direct mail, telemarketing, and email increasing year end donations by 25%-Managed three major events including Dining Out for Life, a $200,000 fundraising event in collaboration with over 100 restaurants in the Bay Area as well as 150 volunteers-Decreased overall spending on all events by 15%(*2011 San Francisco AIDS Foundation acquired STOP AIDS Project)

-Managed a staff of 20 employees including bartenders, ushers, head ushers, assistant manager, and donor lounge hosts for 204 performances per season.
