eCatch is a start-up providing an electronic solution catch and position reporting to commercial fisheries in New Zealand. As one of three Co-Founders, I'm responsible for commercial and operational considerations.

Oversaw the strategic side of education product development. With Product Manager direct reports implemented and maintained this strategy through the various service functions with the company - software & content development, finance, legal, marketing, sales, support, etc.Key achievements:● The successful launch of kuraCloud; a cloud-based learning platform (branded as Lt).● Embedding the Customer Success Management role and development of customer communities.● Development of Lt Customer stories and validation research in partnership with the Marketing team.● Management of the Education Software Development team and reviewing the implementation of Agilemethodology within it.

Responsible for developing the market opportunity for KuraCloud in the tertiary education sector.Key achievements:● Heavily involved in the conception, design & development of kuraCloud.● The initial soft launch of kuraCloud to key customers: planning, training, marketing, etc.● Navigating both the shift from perpetual software licensing to recurring revenue and the complex legal compliance requirements of Software as a Service, particularly in international jurisdictions.● Through the NZTE Better-By-Design program, learned and implemented Design Thinking principlesinto our product development life-cycle.

Responsible for the development of new educational content through a team of up to eight Instructional Designers, to suit a diverse international audience. Content ranged from undergraduate science laboratories, clinical case studies, tutorial and assessment lessons.Key achievements:● Forming and growing the Instructional Design team.● Selecting content areas and designing suitable learning and assessment materials.● International product training with customers and staff.● Evolution from hardware to software to content focus.

Responsible for course design, coordination and lecture & laboratory teaching to a range of undergraduate science and medical courses.
