"Some people have a natural talent for certain things - some are athletes, others inventors. I was born to create maintenance logistics solutions. I know it doesn't sound like the most exciting thing in the world, but it's what I love, and every time I have thought about leaving the industry, it has pulled me back in to say, "This still needs to be fixed!" I've worked with some of the biggest names in real estate across the U.S. and completed over a quarter of a million work orders. Through all this, I've learned a lot—who's the best at what, how to save money, and when to spend it. But regardless of the client, big or small, government or private, the number one question is always the same—"Why does this cost so much?" While there are countless answers, it always comes down to one thing—trust. Owners want to know that the cost was determined using the best methods and that all parties, including our fiduciary duty to the client's pocketbook, resident, vendor, and company, were involved in the decision-making that justifies the cost. Don't confuse this with being happy about spending the money, but it helps if you are 100% certain about the need to pay it. Fast-forward 12 years, and I find myself part of a fantastic team of thinkers, all driven to solve this common issue that's existed since the beginning of time. Our team is located all over the world—in New Hampshire, San Francisco, Austin, Lithuania, Australia, Ontario, and Colombia—and we're all working together to solve the problem of Justification. It's a challenge, but I'm excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team. We will solve it, and I am excited to share our journey with you. David
