I clerked in the summers of 1990 and 1991. During my clerkship, I drafted motions and legal memoranda involving issues under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and other environmental statutes, and issues relating to antitrust, corporate and real property law. I developed legal theories and drafted a substantive memorandum leading to the establishment of an easement that allowed a major commercial real estate development along the shore of Lake Erie.

I clerked in the summer of 1991. During my clerkship, I drafted legal memoranda and researched issues relating to comparative environmental law, priority of bankruptcy claims under CERCLA, trustee liability for environmental/bankruptcy law seminar, and for corporate, insurance, securities and tax law. I drafted correspondence to a U.S. Congressman on behalf of a client against the proposed development of a historic Civil War site.
