My area of expertise is management; people, operations, facilities, budgets and projects. With a defence force background, I excel in sensitive, security–focused environments.Throughout my career I have demonstrated strengths in team leadership, supervising and motivating others towards the attainment of goals. I am a talented presenter with a strong record of success preparing military and civilian personnel for overseas operations, as well as the development and delivery of meteorology and survey courses for staff across all levels. Organised and efficient, I am adept at maintaining administrative and financial records, managing budgets ranging from $120K to $10M, and performance reporting. As a Subject Matter Expert I managed a large project, initiating, developing, writing and editing two new defence publications, which took three years to complete. I also collaborated with the Bureau of Meteorology to develop a computer modeling system that allowed for 24/7 access via internet hook up. With exacting standards and a strong work ethic, I have been recognized for my performance and contributions and subsequently rewarded with multiple promotions. I am a Qualified Workplace Instructor and Assessor, and also hold a Bachelor of Administrative Leadership, Diploma of Resource Management and Diploma of Government (Management). Ever committed to ongoing learning and development, I have completed intensive training across the areas of meteorology, operations, demolitions, planning, security and surveillance. In September 2014 I relocated to our home in Lewes, Delaware, and am now enjoying my new life and career in the USA.
