Work with clients to improve an existing process or to develop new applications. • Design for Additive Manufacturing of custom 3D client CAD models using Autodesk Fusion 360.• Additively manufacture client projects for single prototype designs up to low volume production runs using both single and dual filament extrusion processes (FDM) as well as stereolithography processes (SLA, DLP, MSLA).

Microsystems Engineering program with a focus on multi-material additive manufacturing of polymer-based functional devices. • Develop novel high-resolution, multi-material additive manufacturing processes in RIT AMPrint Center. • Investigate composite stereolithographic polymer resins that can be sintered into fully dense ceramic parts.• Collaborate on multi-material functional printing projects for use in student projects, lab capability demonstrations, or for novel device development. • Educate others on additive manufacturing topics via RIT seminars, AMPrint lab tours, 3D Printing course teaching assistant interactions, and guest lectures at local schools.

• Maintain current FAA small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) pilot licensure in order to operate sUAS vehicles for various aerial imaging missions.• Generate 3D scans of large exterior structures, buildings, or vehicles for digital renderings and 3D printing.• Capture and edit aerial photographs and videos for event planner and real estate clients.

What Do We Do?Our central mission is to connect people who have a desire to use their technical and craft skills to help during the current crisis, with those who need PPE and other hard-to-find support materials. We have an army of makers in the Western New York region who have 3D printers, sewing machines, and other specialized tools and skills. Our collective effort can help combat the current shortage of medical PPE.Our plan is to help you focus on your work. We’ll coordinate our volunteers and give them specific projects for them to create. We’ll collect the materials they produce then sanitize, package, and distribute out of one location.Who Can We Help?Our primary focus is on supporting healthcare, residential care, and emergency services in the Western, NY region, including Hospitals, Medical & Dental Practices, Therapy Centers, Urgent Care Facilities, Assisted Living & Nursing Homes, Retirement Communities, and First Responders (EMT, FIRE, Police) who don’t have access to much-needed PPE.We also are interested in supporting non-medical essential service workers (Grocery Stores, Pharmacy, Hardware, etc.) as well as mutual aid groups providing essential community services during this crisis.

• Authored FDA compliant clinical protocols for the testing of new contact lens multifocal-toric products. Lead protocol implementation from production line training through testing, packaging, and document submission.• Investigated various 3D printing techniques as early stage R&D contact lens production processes. Oversaw the purchase and site installation of several additive manufacturing machines and crossed trained engineers.• Created integrated excel VBA programs to automate data handling that reduced senior engineering time to author protocols by up to 80%. Wrote and implemented automated VBA processes that reduced new product setup errors by up to 90%. Developed visualization dashboards in Tableau that reduced data processing time by up to 75%.

• Drove new additive manufacturing processes and materials from an R&D state to a manufacturing state in a startup, go-to-market environment. Lead projects from conception through design, development, implementation and accreditation. Developed standard operating procedures and set preventative maintenance schedules for new equipment. Reported to senior management on project status, needs, and successes. • Lead debris reduction effort as a major cause of product failure in a class 1000 cleanroom. Up to an 80% reduction in debris levels was achieved. • Created a process that enabled the electrical testing of nested customer sample sheets and reduced lining cycle time by 75% utilizing existing equipment.• Traveled to Asia to meet with customers and hand deliver sample material.

• Co-managed photolithography lab. Scheduled and oversaw regular equipment PMs to minimize production impact. Managed flow of production and R&D material through the lab.• Ensured proper material handling and equipment training of four process technicians.• Project manager for installation and qualification of two $300K SVG 90s tracks.• Developed processes for spin coating photoresist films with thicknesses ranges between2um and 13um and uniformities between 10nm and 100nm, across 4in, 5in, 6in and 8inwafers. Up to a 96.6 percent improvement in uniformity was achieved.• Designed experiments (DOE) on processes to identify key factors then optimize toimprove process stability, thin film quality, and pattern fidelity.• Work closely with technicians, maintenance and engineering staff to perform root causeanalysis on non- conforming material and process deviations.• Designed, improveed, and implemented MS Access database applications to automate datacollection, improve data reliability and increase visibility to management. Developed and released electronic traveler to eliminate paper travelers on production test floor which resulted in a reduction of over 500 hours per year of mid-level management oversight.

• Developed methods to track and record non-conforming material data, in a microelectronic wafer fabrication lab, to improve yield.• Implemented techniques to automate data transportation and storage, within a Microsoft Access database, to reduce data duplication and loss, and to reduce product cycle time. • Investigated non-conforming material to track and determine a root cause of failure.

• Completed Seniors Platoon Leaders Class in August 2013• Completed Juniors Platoon Leaders Class in July 2012• The mission of OCS is to train, screen and evaluate candidates, who must demonstrate a high level of leadership potential and commitment to success in order to earn a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.• Developed and applied leadership skills through commanding groups of up to 140 other candidates to complete objectives in what is known as the toughest and most thorough leadership curriculum in the nation.

• Produced and tested the conductivity of different composites of semiconducting polymers and single-walled Carbon nanotubes.• Measured the electrical efficiency of variable ratios of Nickel and multi-walled Carbon nanotube electrolysis anodes. • Manipulated the structure of a conducting epoxy formulation to optimize conductivity and minimize moisture absorption.

• Carried out regular testing of research samples, including static and fatigue tensile shear strength, cross tensile strength, peel strength, and stress corrosion cracking tests, regarding multi-material bonding, with a focus on aluminum to steel joints.• Developed and implemented organizational methods for more than thirteen thousand destructive test samples.• Conducted in-depth quality reviews for the evaluation of tested and raw materials, received from new, potential long term suppliers, by senior level material engineers.
