The major milestones were as follows:• In 2006 we had the highest sales revenue and the most profitable year in the history of the company• During the spring of 2008 I created a “company within a company” to manage the huge production demands placed on the company by the McDonald’s McCafe program. By splitting the manufacturing plant onto 2 different operations allowed the company to expand sales and have the most profitable 3rd and 4th quarters in company history. • Converted all estimating from pricing methods to direct cost model creating bill of materials for all products sold to better manage profitability. • Completed development of custom .Net application to automate the business systems allowing for sustained revenue over $ 10 million per year. Software performed automated estimating based on ACAD drawings, maintained all purchasing items and their application to products, managed all manufacturing costing, and managed all CRM information. Implementation cut estimating time for a proposal from 4 to 6 hours to 30 minutes. Product libraries more accurately depicted true cost of products helping us be more nimble in market changes. • Diversified and expanded sales by receiving National Approval for Burger King and Popeye’s.• Developed job descriptions for 100% of the direct reports and 90% of their staff. This is important so that the expectations are set with each person insuring that they are in alignment with our culture and values. • Trained my direct reports on above the line / below the line behaviors. This helped drive the cultural changes necessary to sustain higher revenue.• Developed first formal budget for company to drive better decision making enabling managers to be more directly responsible and accountable for their own outcome.
