Co-founded this innovative company as the technical and product leader. Our product, which I designed, classified the contents of videos at scale for the online advertising industry. I recruited and ran the team for design, programming, QA, production and sysops. Was granted a group of US patents on the principal technology.Veenome was acquired Feb 28, 2015 by Integral Ad Science, a major New York adtech firm with offices around the world.

Engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial businesses, including technology investigations for DuPont, patent assessments for a university, and internet marketing and advertising via Google Adwords and Facebook using proprietary automated solutions.

Co-founded a company which, under my leadership created several innovative products involving self-service creation and management of interactive rich-media Internet advertising. We obtained customers including Washington Post, AOL, EBay, Amazon, MP3.com, TheStreet.com.Ultimately built a business of 75 employees and revenues in the millions. Raised $14 million from venture capitalists (including Draper Fisher Jurvetson). Recruited all levels in all categories of employees. Acquired a company, and purchased assets of another. Managed and ran Amazing Media, and oversaw at a high level the product development group.

Started and ran a successful and profitable IT services and development shop from scratch. We specialized in GIS and mapping, primarily for power utilities, and DOD. Clients included: ICL (UK), Verizon, SAIC, DMA (Defense Mapping Agency), Byers Engineering, among others. Expanded to 15 people. Adapted Java as one of our main technologies from its very beginning. Developed an innovative mapping technology called ClearSpace®, used by DOD.

Worked as a programming consultant on Xerox products including facilities mapping, 2-D graphical editor, and document management systems.

Consulted to various companies, primarily doing software development. Companies included: Xerox, GTE Spacenet, American Systems Corp, Contel. Development involved C, C++, Smalltalk, Unix/Solaris, gui work, applications work, system work.
