David joined Eric Robinson Solicitors in 1991 and has managed four different offices of the firm since then. Most recently he has taken charge of our new office in Lymington, a town he knows well having grown up and lived there for over 45 years.David began working in law over 37 years ago and received a wide training in many areas of High Street practice. This has enabled him to specialise in litigation (civil, criminal, and family), residential conveyancing and property work, and wills and the administration of estates at different times of his career to date.As well as acting as the firms Compliance Officer for Legal Practice, and shouldering responsibility for other areas of compliance, David has played a significant role as an advocate in the firm’s Criminal Department, and has advised widely in relation to anti-money laundering and bribery practices. Since opening in Lymington however, he has reverted to advising clients in relation to the preparation of Wills and Estate Administration, where this advice has been much sought after. David acts as attorney to a number of the firm’s clients, and in his capacity as a Partner regularly acts as an executor when so requested.In addition to this work, David remains a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Court Criminal Proceedings), a member of the Criminal Litigation Scheme and is a Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor.
