I have been employed with the military in the regular forces (Reg Force) for almost 3 full consecutive decades (since May 1986).I began my career as an Instrument Electrical Technician (IE Tech), and in the early 90's the 500-series trades amalgamated, which is when I chose to be an Avionics Technician (AVS Tech) as my career path.My current position in Kingston is an Electronics Instructor for new military students who are beginning their careers, and those who have changed career paths into the electronics field. I work side-by-side with a civilian company contracted through National Defence for the purpose of electronics instruction.In 2013-2014, I was personally requested by our Standards department to assist them with re-writing and auditing the Master Lesson Plans for the electronics lesson plans.Duties/tasks include building, updating, and delivering lesson material in a diverse array of electronics and electronic circuits, administration, military discipline, delivering and corrective military drill, physical training, and liaising with both local and outside agencies, of both military and civilian environments.
