Global leader and experienced technical manager with over 20 years’ leadership and management experience.With a proven history of building and developing high performing teams. Technically minded with high attention to detail and high customer focus. Confident and competent in the use of IT & Network Software, Systems and Principles including Project Management, Incident Management and People Management.Over the past number of years much of my effort has gone into building and developing teams and engineers globally. To me, there is something exciting about the process of finding the right people, thinking about what I need out of a team holistically, establishing the teams to meet those needs and then developing the skill sets within the teams.Currently responsible for the management of NOC and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Teams within Akamai Technologies. With responsibilities to establish, build and develop SRE teams globally to maintain and support Akamai mission critical networks and platform.Heavily focused on Incident and Capacity Management to ensure that incidents are minimized through availability and that when they do occur (as they will) that they are managed diligently and efficiently to ensure the best possible service levels are maintained.
