In my role as IT Director at Rosenberg Rich Baker Berman & Company (RRBB), I did the following:• Provided technical support to the firm’s users in their Somerset and Maplewood offices• Developed and implemented plan for upgrade of hubs to network switches and installation of new cabling in the Bridgewater office• Managed migration from Novell NetWare environment to Windows Active Directory domain• Implemented firm-wide rollout of managed antivirus software• Managed the lifecycle of the desktop and laptop computer equipment• Supervised rollout of Citrix XenApp servers• Coordinated implementation of firewall equipment at the firm’s two offices• Oversaw project to setup WAN/VPN between the firm’s two offices• Spearheaded implementation of a firm-wide migration of Windows 98-based computers to Windows XP Professional, then later upgraded to Windows 7 Professional• Coordinated implementation of new Microsoft Exchange server and migration of user email accounts to that server from existing outsourced email system• Coordinated project to migrate RRBB’s Microsoft Exchange environment to Office 365• Led a team to move the firm’s network infrastructure from RRBB’s old Bridgewater location to their new Somerset headquarters location. This included overseeing data and phone cabling of the entire new office space, teardown of the network infrastructure at the old location, transporting the network equipment to the new location, reconstructing the network infrastructure at the new location, and reconfiguring the firewall and other key network resources to work at the new location. Efficient planning and execution resulted in the network being completely up and available Monday morning after completing the network move over a weekend• Implemented a commercial grade wireless system at both offices• Coordinated implementation of VMware vSphere virtualization platform

In my role as Consultant at Sobel and Co., LLC, I did the following:• Performed implementation of standalone and client-server based accounting software systems• Advised clients on design and installation of networks• Acted as liaison between clients and hardware vendors• Handled on-site and in-house troubleshooting of hardware/software issues• Trained clients in usage of software• Provided telephone support services to clients• Collaborated with in-house IT manager on special projects

In my role as Accountant/System Administrator at Plymouth Printing Co, Inc., I did the following: IT Responsibilities:• Responsible for maintaining NetWare-based computer network. Supervised expansion of network to include second location.
