Regional Business Director- Specialty Sales
CurrentJoining Paratek Pharmaceuticals, I took on the challenge of building a team during an expansion. As the Regional Business Director in a start-up, I hired 7 people to fill out our 9 person region spanning 9 states. I cast our regional vision, mission, and sales goals leveraging business planning and team alignment to create a strong launch trajectory and gain wide prescriber breadth. I drove accountability and developed the team to achieve launch and growth excellence. Empowering each individual to engage in persuasive selling conversations focused on leading behaviors in pre-call planning utilizing probing questions, and specifically asking for product trial connected to patient types allowed the team to achieve outstanding results. Additionally, led the team to enlist product advocates in key offices to work closely with specialty pharmacy to ensure a fast and smooth dispensing process. Results—• Circle of Excellence in 2023 finishing 1st out of 9 RBDs in the nation. • Top 20% - Ranked 3 out of 16 RBDs through Q3 2024.• 2 sales reps won Circle of Excellence and another two finished in the top 15% in 2023• Created a culture of "Best is the Standard" by setting an example of excellence and highlighting rep examples of excellence and small wins leading to big wins• Encouraged team collaboration and teamwork through a culture of team and a mindset that we are stronger when we support, help, and encourage one another. • Focused on performance through weekly team communications encouraging each rep to know their weekly number to achieve • Coached each rep individually based on needs utilizing tools such as SLII and GROW
