Directs a six-state (WA, OR, NV, ID, NM, and UT) opioid use disorder (OUD) team working with pharmacists, surgeons, emergency department, and clinics on OUD training, best practices, and process improvement work. Presents regularly, and continues quality and health information technology consulting activities. In addition, directs various UT state OUD efforts and chronic disease contracts. Implements quality improvement and transformation initiatives in the outpatient clinician setting, including primary care, behavioral health, and specialties, in collaboration with health care providers, community partners, other stakeholders, and patients and their families. Supervises quality improvement advisors, and interns. Successfully executes growth, financial health and operational excellence targets for functional areas of influence.

Led a four state team on quality reporting (QPP – Quality Payment Program), presented regularly, and provided quality and health information technology consulting activities. Managed the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization contract for Utah. Chaired the Utah Diabetes Coalition. Experienced in managing complex quality improvement (QI) projects with demonstrated impact. Facilitated interdisciplinary QI teams, trained in data collection and analysis, and conducted healthcare improvement collaboratives since 2005. Rich experience facilitating health information technology adoption, meaningful use, work process redesign, and use of QI tools in order to improve patient care.
