    This was my first client site location as a consultant at Protegra Inc.Project – Claims System Upgrade• Develop Java web applications using Spring Framework, Hibernate, Ant, Ivy, Maven, Apache Tomcat, and Subversion for source control• Worked with a large code base spanning many projects• Worked on all aspects of the internal and external facing applications including back end logic code, web services, HQL to query the database, writing JUnit tests using EasyMock and PowerMock, writing web tests using Selenium and JWebUnit, front end UI HTML/JSP code, and CSS styling• Used agile software methodology including Kanban boards, daily standups, daily meetings with the business and subject matter experts, and code reviews• Worked on a major feature addition to one of the applications with one other person from start to finish and we were given great feedback• Used Jira to track issues and features and was put on the bug fixing team near the end of the project to make the applications production ready• On my own time and with the help of one of my co-workers we developed an android application from start to finish using Android Studio • Used web service calls to gather JSON from a third party API • Presented our application to our mobile committee with positive feedback
