I am a veteran artificial intelligence researcher and software engineer, a cultural entrepreneur, a lover of French language and literature, and an avid teacher.I am a 30-year veteran software engineer and manager, an expert artificial intelligence practitioner with extensive experience in the domains of text generation, deep neural networks, internet search, speech and language processing, and bioinformatics. I have led small and medium software projects and have experience with all phases from product conception through delivery and support. I employ and invent algorithms in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical inference, search, optimization, and large data problems. I have published 11 research papers, have delivered numerous invited lectures, and hold 5 US patents.I am also the Founder of the French Theater Project, an early-stage Boston-based theater company presenting live, contemporary French theater to audiences in America.
