· Designed and built prototype parts for various projects under development. · Finalize drawings and instruction manuals which created parts lists for use by the consumer. · Machining, breaking, and welding as well as a basic knowledge of Auto-Cad and mechanical drawing. Modifications of the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems were also necessary.Lead the design on a new type of landscape equipment.Assisted in the design of a new water wash system used to prepare parts for painting.Managed the production facility, was responsible for 15 to 20 employees completingtypical managerial duties.

· Started as a production helper, cleaning parts to prepare them for other operations. · Received on the job training in operating metal working machines such as; lathes, mills, drill presses, punch presses, brake presses. · Became the set-up operator for second and third shift. Learned to set up and program CNC machines. Worked with the tool and die department to build and repair fixtures for production use, as well as machine prototype parts requiring very precise tolerances for the engineering department.Was promoted to machine shop foreman on second shift, responsible for 20 to 30employees.
