An unyielding desire for success in Project Management.- MY ELEVATOR PITCH -I’m David, I’m a prior Navy veteran and a current student as well as a project management assistant at a higher education institution here in San Diego. My interest in this role and my passion for project management in higher education have been something I have realized I’ve had for a while. I have always been a lifelong learner and seeking out challenges in my day to day, forces me to be organized and always manage myself and my time. My role for the last six years has been project management. My naval career had me managing numerous people, tasks, milestones, and large-scale projects daily. Utilizing my passion for project management and finally understanding my calling for education has led me to higher education and the student journey. Being given the opportunity to have a successful naval career and use my innate skills of meticulous organization, timeliness, honesty, and relentless drive to better student success in all forms is a career path I look forward to no matter the challenge.
