My r, including responsibility for external training procurement, design, external and own delivery and evaluation of training.I established and managed a training department of 4 staff, initially implementing a company-wide L&D strategy, including IT training. Reporting to the board on all aspects of training function, from TNA to evaluation and RoI. With control of the training budget, I liaised with HoDs and negotiated and selected external training providers. I developed blended learning utilising an external on-line learning resource centre (Ashridge VLRC) and introduced over 30 ‘bite sized’ training programmes.

After my initial period as a Sales Consultant, I became New Business Sales Manager for the Central Region. Following this I was promoted to a National Account Manager with over 40+ independent vehicle brokers in addition to 4 sales teams based in the Midlands, South West and the North East.

As an analyst in the corporate business planning team I used economic data, market trends and marketing spend to forecast Profit and Loss performance and variance for twelve product lines in over 200 stores. From 1992 - 93, I was a Retail Accountant presenting financial analysis and projections to regional directors and branch managers in addition to delivering finance training.
