Collegiate Athletic Trainer from 1980 - 2007. Consulting work is based on experiences from collegiate work pertaining to the prevention, care, rehabiltation of athletic injuries and the associated administration of services. Walters' work centers around education, consulting and resources to clients within sports medicine. Much of his education is around his Athletic Training Education Opportunity seminars, casting and splinting workshops on behalf of 3M, and concussion workshops and education on behalf of Biodex.Walters provides consultation to clients by exploring current practices and recommends practices to enforce business rules and best practices based industry standards. Services include offering expert testimony, and support services for sports medicine and athletic training related events on a nationwide basis. He has worked with professional sports leagues including MLB baseball in the program for umpires and assisted the NFL as a concussion spotter for the Atlanta Falcons.
