• Responsible for remote operations and support in our Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH offices, as office in Mason, OH, supporting both those who work in the office and at home. I was primary Systems Administrator for all offices.• Responsible for all IDF Room support and LAN maintenance for all offices. Duties included, punchdown of “110 blocks” for phone system (before changing over to Cisco VoIP phones), LAN patch panel maintenance, new router and 1GB switch installations and configuration, running new LAN lines and pulling LAN and fiber lines between floors for offices on different floors, setup and configuration of all user connections via patching connections from switches, to patch panels to desks.• Initiated project to simplify LAN cabling layout by performing change control to pull all cables and re-run them to create a neater run that was easier to follow and maintain. This included shutting down the network, pulling all cabling and re-running cables in a neater layout, then powering up the equipment again and testing network and VoIP phone connectivity.• Responsible for maintaining Data Center operations of over 400 workstations and servers, keeping them up and on-line, as well as keeping them updated with the latest security patches.• Installed and setup VoIP in all offices. While at CA, I was instrumental in office downsizing of all offices.
