Profile bio

About David Seymour

My 22 years with one international semiconductor company (Motorola Semiconductor/Freescale/NXP) has shown great adaptability, as markets and economies change, allowing me to taking advantage of the many individual, leadership, and managerial opportunities presented. This has enabled me to grow and develop as an embedded application engineer for 4 years leading to a factory application engineering team management role for 7 years. After 11 years in the global headquarters in Austin, TX I transitioned into a field position based in Dallas, TX for 11 years. I re-engineering myself for field (FAE) work with demanding customers and issues in a responsive way to meet customer’s critical needs. As an embedded software/hardware/development tools specialist, I took learning difficult technical topics and made them seem simple. I achieve this by fully knowing the topics, practicing the topics, and using my knowledge and communication skills to ramp their knowledge base. Providing full documentation, reference material, and/or working software example(s) enabled the customer to become self-sufficient quickly. I also like to resolve issues constructively and collaboratively to strengthen the partnership. This culminates to build customer loyalty and relationships for existing and follow-on products.

Listed skills include Software And Hardware Debugging.
