I worked as a Process Engineering technician at the Hibbing Minnesota plant for 8 years until Kimball closed it in 2008. When I started, the company was known as Reptron until Kimball bought out Reptron in 2007. My job duties consists of monitoring production of electronic circuit board assembly mainly in surface mount. The equipment that I use to program for production were DEK machines, GSM placement machines, and reflow ovens. I also used x-ray machines to troubleshoot boards for testing and placement of BGA components. I know pick and place machines and conformal machines too. I have gathered up data for Engineers to help monitor the process and to develop new ideas for quality control. Calbrandt manufactures railcar indexers, gate openers, hydraulic power units, and automated machinery. I was an Electrical Technician during the time I was at Calbrandt which was know as Motion Controls. My duties were custom building of electrical control units and pneumatics, troubleshooting, and some office duties which were purchasing and revising drawings. I did shipping as well as some minor machinery work in the shop.
