From brief employment as a field service engineer, I began my career path leading sales and marketing in broadcast products for the radio & television broadcast market, with over $5 million in first-year sales for my employer. From there, I formed my own broadcast equipment distribution company, building up to representing over 100 International brands.In my free time, I launched an e-commerce based company and grew sales by an average of over 100% each year, which is still operating today. I led the internal and external communications strategy for Knights Communications, BW Broadcast and Broadcast Warehouse. This involved a company-wide rebranding effort and the implementation of new internal communications tools and processes. As a result, corporate communication satisfaction levels among management personnel increased to over 90% I also assisted in building the BW Broadcast brand Internationally by recruiting proactive dealers globally.In my current role, I oversee the E-commerce broadcast equipment company Broadcasters Warehouse, am founder and CEO of a local commercial FM radio station, and am about to launch my very first own broadcast product to the marketplace.I've honed my ability to align teams to work towards common goals and KPIs. I take a consultative approach and understand communication is critical to obtaining alignment. That's why I flex to fit others' communication styles as a means to be more effective in fast-paced environments with cross-functioning teams. There is always something to learn, and with digital media's rapid pace, there's always something new! I enjoy collaborating with others (either in person or virtually) to gain different perspectives to refine strategies.
