Project ManagerNovita Children'S Services Sep 2015 - Nov 2018Adelaide, AustraliaNovita Children's Services is the largest provider of disability services to children in South Australia.With the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS, the organisation has had to change. My role has been to oversee the changes in systems and processes, inorder that Novita becomes more efficient in its operational activities.This has included to date the following achievements:-1. Microsoft Dynamics NAV - given 6 weeks to implement a new finance system and this was achieved with go live in July 2016.2. Tableau BI reporting tool - using this best-of-breed reporting tool to provide financial graphs to the Novita Board. This was also completed in July 2016.3. Online requisition system - development of an online requisition system. The development was a combination of using Sharepoint, Nintex (workflow tool) and integration to Dynamics NAV. Went live in December 2016.4. Qikkids - implemented a specific software for our OSHC & Vacation Care services. This went live in November 2016.5. Led a thorough software selection process for a new Client Management System, with the Board approving the purchase and implementation of Athena's Penelope software in October 2016.6. Athena Penelope (phase 1)- provided 4.5 months to implement a new client management software for our Allied Health Services group, covering around 230 users. Currently in the middle of user training with the system ready to go live on April 3rd 2017 as per the original plan and under the agreed budget.7. Athena Penelope (phase 2) - the next phase of the implementation involves bringing on board our Community Services group onto Penelope's client management system. This is due to go live in July 2017.8. Promaster - have commenced the implementation of Promaster's credit card expense mgmt software (in conjunction with Commonwealth Bank). This initial go live is set for the end of April 2017.There are a queue of projects waiting the completion of the above... -

I was tasked with developing the present implementation team’s skills and processes particularly with the strategy of broadening its current software range supported, on top of Microsoft NAV (ERP) and CRM, to include Microsoft’s AX (Microsoft’s premier ERP package), Sharepoint and SQL reporting services.The role consists of three broad areas of responsibility:-Management/leadership (40% of time) – managing the team of consultants; developing their system skills as well as their “soft” skills; providing regular constructive feedback on performance; leading and developing the team ethos; escalation point for individual challenges; strategically developing the team to meet the changing demands of the business eg. Start to implement new software (Microsoft AX); change to Online Hosting delivery for projects.Project Management (50%) – managing the implementation of software from initial sale through to Go Live and the eventual handover to the Support team. Aiding customers through change management programs.Account Management (10%) – developing additional revenue streams from existing customer base; building trusted relationships with customers and proposing possible system enhancements; contributing presales support.

Initially I became a lead consultant (for 1 year) proving my credentials by taking responsibility for parts of larger implementations but was quickly promoted as the company continued its impressive growth.Then moved into a pure project management role taking overall responsibility for project delivery and getting involved in increasingly larger projects. Initially hired as a temp I was asked to become a full time employee on a permanent role. I held overall responsibility for the monthly financial and management accounts for the BBC as well as quarterly/annual forecasting and budgeting exercises. I was head hunted by FD Systems by the Commercial Director having previously worked with him at the BBC.
