- Lead an effort to develop a more efficient and robust tool that provides sporting event-based replays for testing and QA. Leveraged AWS components such as DynamoDB, Lambdas, S3 and SQS to more flexibly capture and later regenerate the event related data.- Worked on a long research project tasked with unifying several disparate identification systems across ESPN and it’s data providers. - Utilized a Graph Database (Janus) and query language (Gremlin) to create and maintain the relationships between the identifiable entities.- Used Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect to extract the desired entities and relationships from ESPN’s existing systems.- Participated in several cross-organizational meetings to discuss an overall ontology that would be used to describe and classify the sport-centric data sets.
