Currently Managing Continuous Improvement as part of the General Motors International Quality Team looking after all GM products in service within South East Asia and the Global Mid Size Truck. My current experiences within the Quality Team has strengthened my knowledge across the GM business and its other functional departments (Engineering / Aftersales / Marketing / Supplier Quality/ Finance). I have learned the value of the Quality business to both internal and external customers within GM. Leading continuous improvement requires a balanced approach to task completion by motivating and influencing others and the building of effective teams and relationships. This extends further when working between overseas GM business units where language and cultural differences require different tactics to achieve the desired result in a timely manner. This has given me the opportunity to Lead, mentor and develop capability cross functionally across South East Asia and other Global GM business units to improve our performance, processes and products for our customers.
