I built a static real estate agency office from scratch, controlling every aspect of the organisation, including recruiting team members and acquiring listings. I reported directly to the CEO based in Hong Kong, autonomously leading the company in Thailand with responsibility for the budgeting, accounts, business plans and visibility. I recruited and trained the staff, built income streams, salary and commission packages in order to attract effective teams and successfully created advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and to improve market positioning. Additionally, I oversaw the purchase of a large competitor who was established in the area, merging the organisations and developing the organisation to a team of 12 full-time and 3 freelance staff with some of the top-performing BKK real estate professionals.

I was initially recruited as Sales Manager for the proposed X2 villas which were under construction at 3 resorts before being seconded to develop the e-business following the riots of 2010. I focused on building direct bookings for holiday resorts in order to lower the dependency on Agoda bookings with a new website and social media campaigns. I built a successful team of e-business specialists with expat staff, and oversaw the design, planning and sales activities with the villas to successfully deliver a 70% increase in direct bookings year-on-year.
