My name is Aaron Davidson and I am the Director of BCS Property Projects, a forward thinking company which specialises in property preservation and environmental services across the UK. I am incredibly passionate about my job, both as a director and surveyor and I want to help protect properties and people from harmful radon gas. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the UK, after smoking, and not many people are aware of the fact that radon can be found in any type, or size of building. As a proud board member of the UKRA (UK Radon Association) I am aiming to build a strong awareness of radon across the UK by educating employers, landlords, councils and health and safety personnel about the dangers of this invisible gas. Myself and my team of experienced surveyors, who together have over 45 years of experience in the industry, have a wealth of knowledge in a wide variety of property concerns. As well as radon testing, the BCS team also offer specialist damp proofing services to help combat common property problems, like rising damp. Rising damp can occur either because the property was built with no damp course in it or because the original damp course has failed, which can happen for a number of reasons.
