W3 Ventures LLC consists of two primary divisions. Our training division and our contracting and consulting (C&C) division.Our training division provides IT training related to AWS, CompTIA, Microsoft, and ISC2 certifications and technologies. Clients include the US Navy, US Air Force, O'Reilly Media, Cengage, Amazon, Global Knowledge, IA Training, and ASPE. Our C&C division is primarily focused on virtual and on-site consulting. We provide advice about major IT decisions for organizations and perform the work necessary for infrastructure buildouts and upgrades. We can take you to the cloud or build out your nationwide wireless carrier infrastructure or anywhere in between. Clients include MasTec, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon.

I taught a variety of IT and project management courses including ISC2 CISSP; Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Office; CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Project+, Mobility+, Linux+, Server+, CyberSecurity Analyst+, CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner), Cloud+, CTT+; Cisco CCENT and CCNA; and PMP (Project Management Professional).

Managed Region USC (US / Canada) development team and applications. Moved into global role architecting technical infrastructure required and creating SDP (Service Design Package) for proposed new applications. Documented technical details of existing systems. Proposed and implemented new solutions to drive efficiency and better document existing and new systems. Technologies used include PHP, MySQL, AWS, DB2 / iSeries, MS SQL, Windows Server 2003, 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, SharePoint 2007 / 2010, Zend Server, vBulletin, MediaWiki.

Developed ASP / ColdFusion web applications for the Customer Service department to drive efficiencies and automate certain tasks and processes. Developed an account management tool for account liaisons to manage enterprise customers and track notes, meetings and accounts aging information. Managed applications on two UNIX servers through decommissioning and worked with other developers to create replacement systems in a Microsoft environment.As a Technical Support Coordinator I trained new hire Technical Support employees, created and developed training materials and managed groups of employees while they took their first technical support calls on the phone.

Troubleshot and supported data network and infrastructure from customer premises to head end.

At Interland I troubleshot web hosting issues including server configurations and services; resolved customer coding issues with HTML, Perl/CGI, ASP, JavaScript, PHP, and ColdFusion; corrected DNS entries; and trained Tier 1 support staff.

Managed a team of 14 agents that provided outsourced technical support to customers of more than 40 ISPs.
