CurrentCPI is a global training provider delivering training in the management of challenging behaviour for over 30 years. CPI currently works with over 12,000 organisations worldwide, each year training over 900,000 professionals who work within a wide range of public, voluntary and private sector organisations in education, health and social care settings providing services to children and adults. CPI training emphasises ‘restraint reduction’ and provides a range of approaches that fall within the framework of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) which are relevant for staff working in any setting where individuals present risk behaviour towards themselves or others. CPI programmes are nationally accredited in the UK (BILD & ICM), delivering national QCF qualifications for Vocational Training at Level 4 within the Qualifications and Credits Framework (QCF). In addition, CPI offer a BSc in MAPA® and Restraint Reduction in partnership with Wolverhampton University and our MAPA® Instructor programme is delivered as a module in a health sciences degree delivered in partnership with the Institute of Dundalk (Republic of Ireland) and the Universities of Oulainen and Laurea (Finland).
